For lovers of their £30 fit, it may be the winning musical accompaniment to a bottle of £2.98 cava tomorrow: Asda is offering cash-strapped romantics the initial economy brand name Valentine’s Card for 8p. It features Asda Smart cost’s black, white and red colours and a heart. “We’ve got the deluxe notes, chocs and flowers you could feasibly require but we wished to find a way of offering the fellas completely no place to full cover up when it stumbled on sending a Valentine’s card,” said Fergal Gara, supervisor of Asda’s Papershop. “Romance actually dead. It’s simply being carried out on a shoestring.”
